Ariana Grande has officially filed for divorce from husband Dalton Gomez, nearly two months after her new boyfriend Ethan Slater filed for divorce from his wife Lilly Jay.
The 30-year-old actress is following in the footsteps of her boyfriend, who she recently moved in with, when she filed on Monday at the same time as her husband of two years TMZ.
The publication reported that Ariana’s celebrity lawyer Laura Wasser cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce.
Proving that it was a coordinated effort by the former couple, Dalton immediately filed his application soon after.
TMZ insiders claim that everything was sorted out between the two before they went to court and that Ariana will “cut Dalton a check” and the marriage will officially be dissolved.

There was also a prenuptial agreement and the date of separation was given as February 20, 2023.
The publication’s source also points to the fact that the two took time to really go through the details and come to an amicable agreement as the reason it took so long between the separation and the divorce filing.
The TMZ insider claims that there are no hard feelings between the two and “they have been truly caring and respectful towards each other through every step of this process.”
