The devastated mother of a young woman who died in a fiery car crash has revealed her final words to her daughter as she shares a heartbreaking message to other parents.
Tori Pearsall, 27, was moving house when her car veered off Kargotich Road in Mardella, 56km south of Perth, and crashed into a tree at around 3.30am last Saturday.
The mother-of-three’s Toyota Corolla hatchback burst into flames while she was still inside. She died at the scene of the accident.
Now Ms Pearsall’s mother Yvette Leifsson has spoken about what she has learned from the tragedy – and urges other parents to cherish their children.
“If there’s one thing I can take away from this mess, it’s knowing that every time I talk to my beautiful children, the last thing I say is ‘I love you’ and they say it back,” she wrote on Facebook.

“It doesn’t matter if I see her or talk to her.” [to them] We talk on the phone a hundred times a day, each time we end our conversations with “I LOVE YOU” – and that’s the last thing we say to each other.
“So please tell your children you love them because you don’t know when it will be the last time.”
“It comforts me to know that my daughter Tori knew that I loved her with all my heart.”
At the time of the accident, Ms Pearsall was on her way to her sister’s house, where her three young children – all under the age of ten – had been staying, while she and her partner Ricky Clothier worked away.
Ms. Pearsall and Mr. Clothier, who have two young sons and a daughter, were high school students who had been together for 14 years.
The youngest of her children is just two months away from celebrating her second birthday.
In December last year, Ms Pearsall, who owned a catering business, shared an ecstatic picture of her children on social media and wrote: “My greatest achievement ever.”
Ms Pearsall’s sister Kirra Panaia told the West Australian that Tori’s children meant the world to her.

“To my dearest sister, I love you so much and it still doesn’t seem real to me…You turned your back on me when the world was against me,” she said.
“You have my word, I have you and your children… I will let your memory live on forever, sister, I love you and you make me so proud.”
Friend Caitlin started one GoFundMe to help the family financially as they deal with the devastating loss of their “heavenly angel.”
Caitlin said Tori was a “loving mother, partner, sister, daughter, best friend and so much more” and her death was “not easy” for her loved ones.
“Let’s help make this a little easier and help.” [support] her [family] just like we would if she were here!!!’ She wrote.
It is not clear why the car Ms Pearsall was driving left the road.
Major accident investigators have impounded the vehicle as they work to determine the cause of the accident.
