Libby Denney, 28, has been cleaning houses for more than a decade, but the Clean Up Company owner reveals she doesn’t use a dishwasher in her own home.
Many assume that Libby wants to wash her dishes by hand after a long day of cleaning, but the cleaning pro revealed that she actively avoids using the dishwasher.
In the videoCaptioning: “Things I don’t want or have in my home as a cleaner,” Libby told her 110,000 followers that cleaning this item was a nightmare.

The cleaning expert sparked controversy in the comments when she said she wouldn’t have a dishwasher. Even though she has one, she actively avoids using it
She said: “This will be a bit controversial. I personally have one of these in my house but I never use it, they get so dirty they are so hard to clean and I just prefer a bucket of water.”
The expert claimed she saw thick dirt building up around the edges of the machine and urged her followers to simply use a bucket of water instead.

She gave me another piece of advice and said, “What I do with my dishes after I clean them is I pour a kettle of boiling water over them while they’re on the drying rack.”
She added: “They dry in minutes and are sterilized so you don’t need a dishwasher.”
In the now-viral video, Libby lists five other items she would live without and tells her followers to “avoid” wooden countertops at all costs, claiming they get “dirty” after a few months.
The cleaning expert presented another controversial statement and urged her followers not to treat themselves to a freestanding bathtub as it is impossible to clean behind it and a lot of dust accumulates there.
One object, Libby said, gives her goosebumps when she sees it. She urged her followers to never buy a wooden toilet seat.
The cleaning professional explained: “THey, don’t do anything but collect dirt and germs. If you have one, get rid of it and get a plastic one
The cleaning expert also warns against using black spiral taps, although they could add aesthetic value to your kitchen. She said: “These coils collect nothing but dust and dirt, it’s not a joke.” “They are the hardest taps in the world to clean.”
And finally, she urged her followers to stay away from the shutters, saying, “I’m sure many of you will agree with me on this one.”
“They’re dust collectors, that’s all they are, they’re dust collectors.”

Since its release, the video has received over 75,000 likes and hundreds of people have commented and expressed their own opinions.
Many users took to the comments to defend their dishwashers.
One user noted: “Many people don’t use dishwashers properly.” “You’re supposed to wash the food off the plates first and then put them in.”
Another added: “I personally couldn’t live without my dishwasher.” It saves us so many arguments about whose turn it is to do the dishes. Life is much easier with one.
“I think dishwashers have become essential and they save energy and water compared to washing hands,” agreed a third person.
Due to popular demand, the cleaning professional uploaded a second video to the app with more difficult-to-clean household items.
She urged her followers to stay away from toilet brushes and carpets in their hallways if they want a cleaner household. But followers were amazed and many asked how she cleans her toilet.
