Three children are hospitalized after chemical exposure at a Sydney swimming pool

The children were at a swimming pool in Prestons

Three children are being treated in hospital suffering from suspected chemical exposure after visiting an indoor public swimming pool in Sydney.

Paramedics were called to the swimming center in Prestons, in the west of the city, at around 4pm on Friday. Several police, fire and hazardous materials teams were also present.

It is understood seven children and three adults were treated by paramedics at the swimming pool, but only three of the children were subsequently transported to hospital.
