The fraudulent Maryland police officer, who was on duty Monday with his lover, was caught earlier in the act by the same woman jumping into the back of his squad car, his superiors confirmed in a statement.
In the most recent press release, a spokesman for Prince George’s County Police said: “The Department is aware of two videos involving Corporal Francesco Marlett and an adult woman.”
The Department of Internal Affairs has launched an investigation into Marlett and has placed him on paid leave as a result.
This comes after Marlett’s lover, Virginia Pinto, said in an interview that she “did nothing wrong” in continuing her affair with the disgraced cop. She was previously called out on Facebook by the officer’s wife, Paula Marlett, who told her estranged husband’s lover to “rot in hell, son of a bitch.”
The new video shows Pinto identified by the CBS affiliate WUSAShe confidently struts across the squad car and then runs back to her own car to retrieve it before running back to the squad car and climbing into the back seat.

“I know the actions of the officer featured in these videos have provoked a range of emotions in the community and cast a negative light on this agency and the many hard working women and men who wear our uniform” said chief Malik Aziz in his recent opinion statement.
“I expect every officer to act in a manner that does not dishonor that agency or that county.” “I assure the residents of Prince George’s County that I take this matter extremely seriously,” the chief added.
Pinto, who is black like Paula, said she has a soft spot for Caucasian men. Her son’s father is also white, she said the New York Post in a recent interview.
The lover, a US Army veteran, said that she had been pursuing her affair with Marlett for about two years and that his wife was aware of it.
“What’s so exciting? He’s a cop. i am a civilian We got caught. “It sucks, but this will pass,” she said.
“I live my life.” I have children. I’m sure as you know I have a 15 year old boy with autism. His father was Caucasian. “I guess I have a soft spot for Caucasians.”
In the original viral clip, Pinto and Marlett can be seen in a passionate embrace in front of his squad car, which was parked near Oxon Hill High School, near the Virginia border.
The couple climbed into the back seats of the car and stayed there for 40 minutes before driving away separately.
Pinto insisted that she had nothing to be ashamed of. “In my mind, I didn’t do anything wrong,” she said. “I will get on with my life and do what I do.”

She admitted the romp “looked bad,” but insisted they were in a relationship and it wasn’t an affair.

“That’s the main story — that this is no small thing,” she said. “Of course it looks bad since he’s a policeman. But I just want people to understand that this wasn’t a one night stand.”
Marlett’s wife accused Pinto of being a home robber on Facebook, but Pinto told the Post on Wednesday that her lover’s marriage was not a happy one.
Pinto claimed on Facebook that Marlett’s wife also cheated – but she told the New York Post she won’t discuss her allegation.

Marlett was awarded the Bronze Medal of Valor Prince George County Police Department in 2021 – meaning the officer would have exposed himself to “unusual personal risk”.
It’s unclear what Marlett did to earn the medal in 2021, but the official has since been suspended – his third suspension from the force.

The first suspension came in 2016 when he was suspended without pay for child molestation.
He was accused of beating his then-girlfriend’s three-year-old son unconscious in December 2015 when he was off duty.
Prosecutors at the time claimed he watched his girlfriend’s three-year-old son prepare dinner on December 27 and began beating her son after he soiled the bed.
As he was beating the child, the boy’s head hit the wall and he lost consciousness, prosecutors claimed.
Angela D. Alsobrooks, then-Prince George’s County District Attorney at the time, said in the statement at the time, “There is no apology for Officer Marlett’s actions.”
“Regardless of what happened, hitting a defenseless child and causing injury is never acceptable.”
Marlett, who has been a police officer for ten years, had his charges dropped and cleared, allowing him to resume service with the Bureau of Patrol.
The disgraced police officer was suspended for a month in May 2023 after allegations of domestic violence, but then resumed duty in June.
PGPD said in a statement on Tuesday: “The officer has been identified.” “His police powers are now suspended as the investigation is ongoing,” he said.
“As soon as we became aware of this today, we launched an investigation to clarify the circumstances.
“Additional information will be released once the investigation is done and confirmed.”
His latest suspension came after shocking video showed the uniformed police officer kissing his scantily clad lover in a park and then climbing into the back seat of his squad car with her.

The video first shows the couple kissing while the woman touches the officer’s head. The woman then walks to the back of the car with the officer’s arm around her.
DailyMail.com was unable to reach out to Marlett for comment on the investigation and suspension.
Prince George’s County Police Union chief Angelo Consoli confirmed the union was aware of the video and police are investigating.
“We are assisting our officers in all investigations and asking people to withhold judgment until the facts come out,” Consoli said. “At that point we will reassess our position.”
Nelson Ochoa told WRC-TV he shot the now-viral video on Labor Day while playing football with his family at Southlawn Park in Oxon Hill.
“As soon as I started recording, a car pulled up and a young lady came out,” Ochoa said.
“We couldn’t believe what we were seeing, and what really made us think, ‘Wow, that’s crazy,’ is when the car started rocking left and right a little bit.”
‘So we thought, that’s crazy.’ In broad daylight with kids around.’
Ochoa said Marlett and the woman drove off in opposite directions about 40 minutes after the liaison began.
“I’m glad I caught it on camera so Prince George’s can see what kind of officers they have who are said to be working to protect the community,” he said.
