USMNT forward Christian Pulisic gives a cheeky dig at the star-studded MLS crowd who have voted for Lionel Messi: “Let them know they’re invited to US national team games too.”
USMNT and AC Milan winger Christian Pulisic jokingly invited Hollywood stars to attend Team USA games, just as they had been seen at Inter Miami vs. LAFC.
After many decided to pay particular attention to the many celebrities who watched Lionel Messi and his star-studded team-mates play against last year’s holders, Pulisic used his Instagram Story to send out the open invitation.
The player, who has become known around the world as ‘Captain America’, reposted a video from MLS showing several of the famous faces in the audience and captioned ‘The stars shone brightly for MLS game day’ , and titled it with his own caption.
Pulisic’s caption read, “Let them know they’re also invited to US National Team games,” along with a “crying-laughing” emoji at the end.
Although several of the celebrities who attracted attention on the Apple TV show mentioned that they regularly attend LAFC games, no comparable USMNT involvement in games has been documented.

The USMNT will play Uzbekistan and Oman in friendly matches during the international break
As Europe’s big leagues prepare for the upcoming international break, Pulisic will be one of many foreign players returning to the United States for the two forthcoming friendlies.
America is expected to play games against Uzbekistan in St. Louis and Oman in Minneapolis, although there are unlikely to be many due to stiff competition from the two opposing teams and the fact that neither game is a hotspot for the rich and famous Celebrities will accept the invitation in the next window.
Team USA will play Germany in East Hartford, Connecticut before traveling to Nashville to face Ghana in the next international window, and those games will at least feature opponents that will draw bigger crowds.
However, regardless of the more entertaining opposing team that USA will face in two windows, there is a strong possibility that Pulisic’s invitation will not be accepted until the upcoming Copa America and World Cup by some of the top Hollywood stars on American soil.
Although the fans who crowd Pulisic’s club games don’t get the same level of attention as those in Miami, Pulisic has gotten off to a great start to his career in Milan.
He started his first three Serie A games for the Italian giants. Pulisic scored two goals and started every game.
