Real Madrid have showcased their renovation work at the Santiago Bernabeu with stunning drone footage posted to their social media accounts.
The ambitious renovation of her famous home, which dates back to 2019, is believed to have paid off The construction costs 575 million euros (494 million pounds) and should bring the legendary stadium into the modern age.
Despite delays, the stadium unveiled its new roof and pitch in Saturday’s 2-1 win over Getafe in the first home game of the season.
Ahead of the game, Real Madrid released a video showing drone footage both outside and inside the stadium.
Notable features on display included the new roof, a terrace that surrounds the stadium at its highest level, which will offer match-goers an innovative sense of hospitality, and the new pitch.

It also showcases the stadium’s stunning architecture, which brings the iconic venue into the present with its futuristic look.
The ambitious original deadline of 2022 has passed and construction work, led by club president Florentino Perez, has been extended into this summer.
Last year Madrid signed a deal with Legends and Sixth Street which gave the company the management of the stadium for 20 years and paid in £309m.
Going forward, the club will receive 70 per cent of revenue on site and estimates that revenue from use of the venue will increase by £129m a year.
In July it was reported that the work will be completed in September or October this year and the official opening is planned for the winter break in December.

After playing under the roof for the first time, Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti said: “It’s a spectacular atmosphere, there’s something new.”
“I think the fans put a lot of pressure on today, the atmosphere is much more closed.”
“You can feel the pressure from the fans – it will be a very important help and that was it today.”
Jude Bellingham scored the winning goal in the last second and saved Ancelotti’s side three points.
