How Gen Z’s Impact On The Workplace Continues To Grow

Members of Generation Z have surpassed Baby Boomers in the workforce and are having a greater impact on the nation’s labor pool and how work gets done. Other major findings from the Upwork survey: 65% of Gen Zers said they plan to use more freelancers over the next five years than they do today.

61% believe that using freelancers is a very effective lever for building talent pipelines, which compares to 47% of Millennials, 35% of Gen Xers, and 37% of Baby Boomers.
