Comedian and presenter Rosie O’Donnell has put her Manhattan penthouse up for sale for $8.3 million after reportedly deciding to leave the Big Apple and enjoy life on the beach.
The 61-year-old former View host bought the four-bedroom home duplex in 2017 for $8 million and has served as her primary residence ever since.
However, after spending a year with her 10-year-old daughter, Dakota, in Malibu on the west coast, she put the house up for sale.
The property is one of two penthouses in the Sterling Plaza high-rise at 255 East 49th Street near Second Avenue. Perks include an expansive private rooftop terrace with breathtaking views of New York’s East River, a Swedish sauna and wood-burning fireplace, and a marble-clad bathroom.

In a TikTok, she revealed seeing a group of whales from her back door.
She explained to viewers, “Twelve months in this house has been very healing.” I will miss it dearly. It’s lovely here. “I advise everyone, if they can, to live in nature.”
O’Donnell, mother of five, hasn’t indicated what her next step will be.
