‘Stalker’ is arrested in the dead of night while lurking outside Harry and Meghan’s Montecito mansion after security personnel placed him under citizen arrest
Police reportedly received a call from a security guard around 2am Monday morning
29-year-old Kevin Garcia Valdovinos was taken into custody and brought to trial
An alleged stalker has reportedly been arrested lurking outside Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Montecito mansion in the middle of the night.
It is understood that a member of their security team placed him under citizen arrest before alerting local police.
A spokesman for the Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Office told TMZ that they received a call from security guards around 2 a.m. Monday morning.
The tabloid, citing Santa Barbara police, reported that 29-year-old Kevin Garcia Valdovinos was arrested at the entrance to the couple’s property.
When police officers arrived, the man was taken into custody and charged with stalking before being later released on $2,500 bail.

The law under which Valdovinos was arrested revealed that this was not the first time he had committed a similar crime.
TMZ reported that he never made it onto the property and that he told security forces this, prompting them to place him under citizen arrest.
It was not clear if Harry and Meghan were present at the time. The couple were in New York City last night to attend the Ms. Foundation’s Women of Vision Awards, where Meghan was presented with an award.
