Despite spending around £600m on signings this season, the Blues are not considered to be one of their favorites this season due to their domestic struggles.
However, Potter has delighted Chelsea fans with his ambitions of winning the Champions League this season.
When asked what message he wanted to convey to fans during a club event this week, Potter said: “Well first of all thank you because you’ve been incredibly fair, incredibly fair to us.

Potter has been heavily criticized since his appointment as manager in September as their struggling form left the Blues 10th in the Premier League standings.
However, Chelsea have managed three wins after switching back to a 3-4-3 formation, giving fans some optimism for the final months of the season.
The Blues will figure out their possible route to the final today, with the draw for both the quarter-finals and semi-finals taking place from 11am today.
