Fabinho claims Roberto Firmino should stay at Liverpool “FOREVER” and says the Reds should “enjoy” having him at the club… as he prepares to leave Anfield at the end of the season after eight great years
Fabinho took time to praise his Brazilian for being someone “everyone likes”.

The team veteran came off the bench against United and scored the seventh goal
Fabinho paid tribute to Liverpool and Brazil team-mate Roberto Firmino after the Merseyside club’s 7-0 win over Manchester United after it was announced he will leave the club at the end of the season.
Firmino, 31, came off the bench in the 79th minute and put on an excellent performance as United collapsed. He initially recorded an assist for Mohamed Salah before scoring the seventh goal with two minutes remaining.
The Liverpool striker smiled on the pitch and fans have hoped he might reconsider his decision to leave in the summer.
Fabinho called his team-mate “a guy everyone likes” and in a post-match interview begged him to change his mind.
Speaking to ESPN Brazil after Liverpool’s stunning win over United, Fabinho said: “Bobby [Firmino] is a very special guy.

“It’s great to have him as a teammate. He’s a guy everyone likes.
“It was really cool that he scored today, that he celebrated like that.
“Everyone on the bench, on the field, celebrated with him because he’s the guy everyone likes.”
Fabinho continued: “So he’s a guy who should stay at Liverpool forever for me, who’s been very important since I arrived.
“I don’t want to talk too much about the future so let’s enjoy the last few months we have with him.
“I don’t know if the situation can still change, but we joke a bit with him.
Fabinho joined Liverpool in 2018, three years after his former Brazilian team-mate left in 2015
The pair found success for the club in various competitions such as the FA Cup, Champions League and Premier League
“But let’s enjoy while we have this player with us because he’s a very special guy.”
Firmino has made 354 appearances for Liverpool since arriving in 2015, scoring 108 goals for the club.
In recent years, with the introduction of the likes of Diego Jota and Darwin Nunez, Firmino’s influence has waned, potentially encouraging the striker to play elsewhere next season.
Jamie Carragher called the news that Firmino was leaving “best for all parties” when it broke last week. The Brazilian informed Liverpool of his decision not to stay past the end of his contract at the end of the current season.
