David Beckham couldn’t have asked for a better start to Inter Miami’s MLS season after Phil Neville’s side stunned the Philadelphia Union – last season’s runners-up – 2-0 when Robert Taylor scored a stunning volley to defeat to extend the Heron’s two unbeaten games start.
French striker Corentin Jean, 27, who joined the United States from French and Ligue 1 club RC Lens this summer, opened his MLS account for Miami at DRV PNK Stadium when he scored from long-range in the 32nd minute.
Taylor, representing Finland whose father Paul is English, doubled Inter’s lead in the 77th minute with a potential goal of the season, just two games into the new season.

The 28-year-old midfielder, who can also play as a full-back, played a give-and-go with Brazilian midfielder Jean Mota before chesting the ball in mid-air and hitting it outside Union’s box.
