Damar Hamlin will “go back to professional football,” according to NFL players’ union doctor, giving Buffalo Bills and the league a big boost
Damar Hamlin is likely to make a spectacular return to football, according to the NFL Players Association medical director.
In a speech on SiriusXM on Wednesday, Dr. Thom Mayer that he “guaranteed” Hamlin that he would see an NFL field again.
“I guarantee you that Damar Hamlin will be playing professional football again,” Mayer said on SiriusXM Doctor Radio’s “Heart to Heart” show.
It comes just over a month after Hamlin collapsed on the field while playing for the Buffalo Bills against the Cincinnati Bengals on Jan. 2.
