The Bear star Ayo Edebiri is set to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the Thunderbolts movie.President Kevin Feige producing., is the newest start to be added to the roster.After wowing audiences as sous chef Sydney Adamu opposite Jeremy Allen White in FX’s The Bear, Ayo Edebiri is trading the Chicago sandwich shop for the Marvel Cinematic Universe as she boards the cast of Marvel’s Thunderbolts per Deadline.
Phase Five is about to start next month with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which will take the Multiverse Saga to the next level.Later on within Phase Five, the Thunderbolts will join the MCU.The project marks Edebiri first major studio starring role following her critically-acclaimed role in The Bear.After several years of speculation, Thunderbolts was properly greenlit in 2022 by Marvel Studios.Sam Rockwell has not been confirmed, , the character he played in Iron Man 2.It will be the penultimate film of Phase Five and will be one of the more unique MCU installments in quite some time.Season 2 will premiere this summer on FX on Hulu.Filming is expected to start later this year in order to make its 2024 release date.On television, Edebiri has also gained experience as a writer, working as part of the staff on Apple TV+’s Dickinson, as a story editor on Sunnyside, and as a writer for episodes of What We Do In the Shadows and Craig of the Creek.

Agent.Who Could Ayo Edebiri Be Playing In Thunderbolts The bigger question right now is who Edebiri could potentially be playing in Thunderbolts.With no clues given at the time, she could be playing anyone from the Marvel Comics world or even an original character for the MCU.It’s likely she is portraying someone that already exists in the lore, and it could be possible that they are adding another Thunderbolts member.Since the MCU film isn’t pulling from one particular line-up, Thunderbolts may have Edebiri play a member from a particular comics run.
