Ahead of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 2, Infinity Ward has revealed some of the changes coming to Battle Royale on February 15th.
Activision previously announced that the new season’s content update would be arriving a little later than expected, getting an almost two-week delay and launching on February 15 rather than the expected February 1.
Of course, fans were excited to see what’s to come in the new season. Both Infinity Ward and Raven Software have shared sneak peeks at just some of the upcoming changes. On January 23rd, Infinity Ward confirmed that there would be changes to Buy Station prices and lootable cash.
In a tweet, Infinity Ward said of the upcoming changes, “More lootable cash is now available in Battle Royale and the prizes will be balanced to give you more bang for your buck.”

More looting cash is now available in Battle Royale, and prizes are being evened out to give you more bang for your buck.
We’ll be posting more details on what’s changing in Warzone 2.0 on this week’s Studio Blog.

Players previously felt that loadout prices were high, making it difficult to find the ideal loadout to get them through matches. To add to the difficulty, finding cash was also difficult. Fortunately, these new changes should put less strain on both elements.
Those weren’t the only changes Infinity Ward and Raven Software teased. Just a few days ago, the studios confirmed that changes to looting will also be introduced, where players will be eliminated and loot containers will levitate all loot to the ground.
Infinity Ward and Raven Software announced that a studio blog will be released sometime this week detailing more about the upcoming changes and in greater depth.
