Night temperatures plummet in Jammu and Kashmir, Delhi; rainfall warning in Andhra, Tamil Nadu

Himachal Pradesh weather

New Delhi: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) early Tuesday said that the Depression over Southwest and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal continues to move west-northwestwards towards south Andhra Pradesh, north Tamil Nadu-Puducherry coasts. It is likely to weaken gradually into a well-marked low pressure area during the next 12 hours, the weather department informed. Due to the above-mentioned influence, light to moderate rainfall would occur at many places over north Tamil Nadu and Puducherry and south coastal Andhra Pradesh and adjoining Rayalaseema today.

Northern areas of Tamil Nadu and south coastal Andhra Pradesh are likely to receive light to moderate rainfall November 23.

The IMD has advised fishermen not to venture into Southwest and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal, Gulf of Mannar and along and off Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Sri Lanka coasts till November 22.

Jammu and Kashmir weather

The IMD stated that Srinagar recorded 1.4 degrees Celsius, while 11°C was recorded in the Jammu region at 5:30 am today. Gulmarg, the famous tourist destination recorded -0.49 degrees Celsius, Banihal 9.2°C, Pahalgam -3.2°C and Samba 8.8 degrees Celsius.

Himachal Pradesh weather today

Shimla recorded 11 degrees Celsius today morning. There is no chance of rainfall or snowfall today in the Himachal Pradesh capital. Shimla is surrounded by Mandi and Kullu in the north, Kinnaur in the east, Uttrakhand in the south, Sirmaur in the west. Kufi, the famous tourist destination recorded 8.0 degrees Celsius, while Chamba recorded 9.01°C.

Delhi weather today

Delhi recorded the coldest night of the season as the minimum temperatures dropped to 8.9 degrees Celsius on Monday night. The IMD said that Delhi recorded 13 degrees Celsius at 5:30 am today. Lodi Road recorded 12.21 degrees Celsius, while 13.61 °C was recorded in Najafgarh area.

Maharashtra weather today

Mumbai recorded 18.21 degrees Celsius, Nagpur 13.6 °C, 13.51 °C, while it was 10.8 degrees Celsius in Nashik at 5:30 am today.
