New Delhi: The doctor who examined the jaw of a human skull recovered by the police team investigating the Shraddha Walkar murder case said there is a high chance of it belonging to her skull.
“The police came to me today morning. They showed me a photo of a jaw on a phone. They just wanted to if it could be Shraddha’s or not. We will only be able to confirm once the reports are out. There are high chances that it is hers as both things are matching what her Mumbai doctor told us,” he said.
Shraddha’s Mumbai-based doctor had claimed that he had done Root Canal Treatment (RCT) on Shraddha’s right wisdom tooth.
“The doctor had said I removed her wisdom tooth on the right side. That tooth is missing (in the recovered jaw). So there are high chances,” the doctor who examined the jaw added.
Meanwhile, FSL assistant director Sanjeev Kumar Gupta said the findings of accused Aftab Poonawala’s narco test will be produced to the probe team.
In another development, a real estate broker in Mumbai claimed that accused Aftab’s father Amin withheld details about his son while he rented a flat on Mira Road Mumbai.
The agent revealed that Aftab’s father initially wanted to rent 1 BHK but later changed his mind and rented the 2 BHK flat. The flat was taken on rent in Delta Garden Complex.
Aftab Poonawala is accused of killing his live-in partner Shraddha Walkar on May 18 and cutting her body in 35 pieces in South Delhi’s Mehrauli. The accused was arrested by Delhi Police on November 12.
