Youth stabbed to death while saving his uncle from two assailants in Indore

Indore: In a shocking incident, a 24-year-old man was stabbed to death by two people in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore. The incident took place on Saturday in the Pardeshipura area of the district when the victim, Sawan Shukla, tried to save his uncle Sunil.On Saturday, Sunil Shukla, his son and nephew Sawan were consuming alcohol at Nanda Nagar wine shop when the prime accused, Aniket, and his accomplice reached the spot and started an altercation over an old issue, reported The Times of India.

A verbal spat erupted between Sunil and Aniket. The main accused and his accomplice attacked Sunil. Sawanintervened in the fight to save his uncle. Aniket’s accomplice held Sawana while Aniket stabbed him.

After stabbing Sawan, Aniket and his accomplice fled from the spot. Sawan was rushed to a hospital. However, he succumbed to his injuries. Sunil was also severely injured in the attack. He was admitted to the ICU for further treatment.

As per the Pardeshipura police station in-charge, Pankaj Dixit, Sunil and Aniket had a long pending dispute over lending money. Sawan’s body was handed to his family members after the post-mortem. As per the report, Sawan was a habitual offender. he had several cases registered against him. Meanwhile, Sunil works as a decorator.

Police have detained a few people for questioning in connection with the case. However, no arrests have been made in connection with the murder. Police have launched a detailed investigation in the case.
