Twitter layoffs continue! Elon Musk plans retrenchment in sales: Reports

Elon Musk, the Chief Twit of Twitter, SpaceX and Tesla owner may lay off more employees now as per reports. Just few days after the Tesla Owner fired more than half of the employees, he is now planning to sack more employees from today. As per the Bloomberg report, the new jobs cuts at the company are expected to target the sales team and the partnership team as well. The SpaceX owner has not yet confirmed or announced the layoffs but as reports suggest the job cuts may start from Monday, I.e., today. The report suggested that Musk himself had asked the existing team leads of all departments of twitter to unanimously to lay off more employees. Robin Wheeler and Maggie Suniewick who were running the marketing sales and partnership team respectively refused to do so which led to them losing their own jobs.
It was reported that some employees were sacked by Elon Musk while some left the company after the layoffs began. Elon Musk had confirmed that employees were sacked as Twitter was making huge losses as per the report by Outlook. He tweeted, “Regarding Twitter’s reduction in force, unfortunately there is no choice when the company is losing over $4M/day. Everyone exited was offered 3 months of severance, which is 50% more than legally required.”

Few weeks back, Twitter started its layoffs wherein employees were mailed via the company whether they were laid off or not. Employees knew that they have been laid off when they were denied access to login while some received a mail.
