Thursday Ratings | Oh CHANNEL 10, what a mess!

Spread the love

There is no way to spin 10’s night as a success.

Home & Away (415,000 7pm; 384,000 7:30pm to 8:30pm Late) slide a little for Seven, however the Grand Final edition of The Front Bar (418,000) steps up and draws a very solid audience for 8:30pm. Here for the Horses (155,000) and a repeat of Autopsy USA (45,000) slink off into the night after it.
Seven tied first in primary (20.5%) and first in network (29.2%) rankings.

Nine win 7pm with A Current Affair (585,000), and double down to take primetime with a later-week episode of The Block (638,000). Then, in some states, The Footy Show Grand Final: My Room Telethon (68,000 MEL/ADL/PER) raises over $3.2 million in a marvellous charity event, otherwise Emergency (180,000 BNE/SYD), A+E After Dark (117,000 BNE/SYD), and New Amsterdam (29,000 BNE/SYD) are offered up.
Nine tied first in primary (20.5%) and second in network (28.4%) rankings.

The second half hour of The Project (179,000 6:30pm; 310,000 7pm) lifts to over 300k for the first time in nearly a week for 10, however it was the very small audience that tuned in for the Socceroos vs New Zealand (209,000) that crippled their evening (BVOD will be revealed in next week’s Total TV figures). It pushed Gogglebox Australia (217,000) to after the soccer and it managed to outrate the program before it (after starting around 10:30pm) and yet forced the usual highlight to under half its season average. Both 10’s primetime shows fall outside the top 20 for the night.
10 third in both primary (10.9%) and network (18%) rankings.

7:30 (421,000) drops a banger for the ABC, followed by a reasonable Foreign Correspondent (288,000). A repeat of David Attenborough: Life That Glows (174,000), filling in for Q+A, eclipses at least three episodes this season. Kurt Fearnley’s One Plus One (82,000) and a repeat of Old People’s Home for Teenagers (59,000) fill out the late night.
ABC fourth in both primary (9.8%) and network (15.3%) rankings.

Guillaume’s Paris (114,000) led SBS’s night, followed by World’s Most Scenic River Journeys (106,000) and The Handmaid’s Tale (66,000), the latter delivering a massive BVOD and catch up audience from last wee (355% uplift!).
SBS fifth in both primary (4.3%) and network (9.1%) rankings.
